The singer (real name Claire Elise Boucher) commented as follows in response to a Tweet directed at her Azealia Banks Posted by X on Thursday, December 26th.
It's a reference to the feud between the couple that made headlines in 2018 and re-shared a meme depicting Banks and Grimes as antagonistic characters in the movie. They are not badBanks beat Grimes.
Banks accused Grimes, 36, of not letting go of their alleged feud and “still trying to paint me as a villian and act like she's above me.”

“Girl, still trying to hold on to the bullsh-innocent-t years later after you got dumped, you got cheated on,” Banks, 33, wrote.
Banks went on to describe Grimes as “She has the PEAK illusion of a white woman,” and added, “Get over yourself.”
“You can really stop talking to me. I know you wish you could be my best friend but b–tch….. it's too much fun. Stop it,” he continued.

The singer also disputed the comment that he was “abandoned” by Musk, 53, saying it was the other way around.
“I was not 'forsaken'. I bounced. My wonderful baby is lying in my bed next to me, I am in love. no regrets. “Life is as good as you make it,” Grimes wrote.
He continued: “He has an amazing talent. Even after all this, I want to win. God bless you Lady.”
Grimes and Musk were together for four years before their split in 2022 and have endured an uphill battle for their three children, son X Æ A-Xii, 4, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and son Techno Mechanicus, 2.

Grimes confirmed that he had broken up with Musk in a post on X referring to a Vanity Fair an article about their relationship had just been published at the time.
