The International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF) is becoming a legend. The ITHF launched a new program this week, as part of an exciting 2025 program that will feature a new Hall of Fame and induction ceremony in 2025: Be Legendary.
The new program, supported by Hall of Fame president Kim Clijsters, is designed to immerse young players ages 10 – 18 in the rich history of tennis, emphasizing the importance of persistence and sharing the inspiring stories of legendary players who overcame adversity to achieve success. size.

Next year, Benendary will begin programs in Melbourne, Indian Wells and Miami (among other locations), giving student-athletes from local youth tennis programs the opportunity to embrace the history of the sport in an inclusive learning environment. with real life Hall of Famers and trips to local professional tournaments.

To start the year, Be Legendary will be launched in Melbourne, Indian Wells and Miami. Hall of Famers scheduled to participate include Kim Clijsters, Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario and 2025 Inductees Mike and Bob Bryan, and Rosie Casals, among others. Be Legendary is slated for 2024 starring Clijsters, Sánchez-Vicario, Andre Agassi, Chris Evert, Leander Paes, Martina Navratilova, Vijay Amritraj, Rick Draney, Tracy Austin, Gigi Fernandez, and Stan Smith. Students in the pilot program had the opportunity to study the inspirational stories of each of these Hall of Famers and spend time with them in person, through a Q & A session, one-on-one interviews and a tennis program.
“Be Legendary was established by the International Tennis Hall of Fame to educate young players around the world about the history of this game and the lessons learned by its legends,” said Clijsters, who is also a Hall of Famer. “Our goal is to do good in the world, to help kids find their greatness by showing them what it means to be a legend, on and off the court.”
The Be Legendary program will culminate this summer in Newport,” where outstanding participants selected from each youth organization will participate in a trip to the World Hall of Fame during the 2025 Induction Ceremony.
