Harris ripped into 'word salad' after heckler interrupted during campaign speech: 'The gibberish never ends'
Vice President Kamala Harris was mocked by the Trump campaign and other conservatives online for “word salad” after a hacker disrupted her speech in Nevada on Thursday night.
“You know what?” said the vice president in Reno, Nevada after shouts could be heard from the audience as he spoke. “Let me say something about this.”
“We are here because we are fighting for democracy. To fight for democracy. And understand the difference here, understand the difference here, to move forward, to move forward, to understand the difference here.”
“What we are looking at is the difference in this election, let's move forward and see where we are because on the issue, for example, freedom of choice,” continued Harris during the survey.

“You know what? Democracy can be complicated, sometimes that's okay. We are fighting for the right for people to be heard and not be arrested because they speak their minds. We know what's at stake.”
Harris quickly drew criticism from conservative critics on social media.

“Kamala walks away after ANOTHER speech is interrupted by protesters,” an account run by the Trump campaign posted on X.
“WAKES UP UNDER PRESSURE,” Trump adviser Stephen Miller posted on X. “I'M PRESSING ALL THE TIME. Not the quality you want in a great manager.”
“You are the name salad Queen!” Author Tom Young posted on X.

Fox News Digital reached out to Harris' campaign for comment but did not immediately receive a response. “
“Nevada, I'm here asking for your vote,” Harris told the crowd. “I'm asking for your vote. And here is my pledge to you, and I got it, as president, I promise you will seek common ground and reasonable solutions to the challenges you face. I'm not looking to score political points.”
“I am looking to make progress. And I promise to listen to experts, to listen to those who will be affected by the decisions I make and to listen to people who disagree with me. Because real leaders do that.”
