Heather Rae El Moussa Shares Before And After Photos Of Her Toned Abs
Heather Rae El Moussa he's been working on fixing his gut health – and the results are ab-tastic.
“Actually, after my baby I have a problem with constipation and I never had it,” El Moussa, 37, revealed on Instagram on Thursday, November 7. “Healing my intestines changed everything.”
The first one Selling Sunset The star shared a previous photo of her abs with fans, showing off a softer and more plump stomach. In his “after” photo, El Moussa was seen sporting a tight stomach and the outline of his abs was visible.
El Moussa, who welcomed his son, Tristan, in January 2023, breaks his strict stomach routine, which includes taking two tablets of Rest PM Gut Cleanse every evening.
“I swear this,” she added, noting that she and her husband Tarek El Moussa they are “obsessed” with cleaning.
When it comes to her morning regimen, Heather said she takes a probiotic and electrolytes in her water.
Flip Off star shared that she's also been “reducing gluten, limiting soy (most vegan diets contain a lot of soy), and daily AM walks with Tristan have improved my digestion tremendously!
After receiving questions from her fans about her performance, Heather sounded off in a series of Instagram stories.
“I walk with Tristan every day [and] I work out with my trainer @paulinastein 4 days a week,” she shared Thursday, referring to her fitness trainer. Paulina Hefferan.
Heather said her “weekly goal” is two days of strength training – one day lower and one upper body – plus one day of core and pelvic floor exercises and one day of Pilates sculpt.
“Heather is a little person. Tall, thin — that's just the way he is,” Hefferan explained on his Instagram Story on Thursday, discussing how they're “working on muscle” and “more calories” while “putting protein first.”
The celebrity trainer said that although “Heather was afraid of carbs” she now eats them “all the time.” Hefferan shared that Heather's workout routine is geared toward “a lot of weights,” adding that the reality star “doesn't do cardio very often.”
Meanwhile, Heather, told her followers that she works out three to four times a week depending on her schedule. “I work from my living room, which makes it easy for Tristan and I to work,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Workouts “vary” in length according to the HGTV star, who says they can be anywhere from a 20-minute walk with her son to an hour-long training session.
Since Heather is a meat eater, she has had to learn how to increase her protein intake without increasing the amount of soy she eats. She told her followers that she eats “a lot of vegetables.”
“I'm trying to cut down on processed foods. I eat a lot of fresh foods like lentils, beans, quinoa, rice, hummus, etc,” he revealed, adding that he doesn't drink coffee but “he likes my matcha.”
