Hilton has signed an agreement for the first location of LXR Hotels & Resorts in China

Global hospitality company Hilton has revealed plans to launch the first LXR Hotels & Resorts in China, expanding its luxury portfolio in the country.

The company plans to open the hotel in 2027 in Xi'an in partnership with Zhong Ding Guo Sheng.

Since its inception in 2018, LXR Hotels & Resorts has expanded into a collection of 13 luxury properties around the world, each offering superior experience, design, and services.

The upcoming Xi'an property will join Hilton's portfolio in China, alongside Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts, as well as Hilton's recent signing Signia.

Under the luxury category, Hilton has 33 hotels currently operating and another 21 on the way across Greater China. Hilton's partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World continues to enhance its luxury offerings.

Located in Datang Everbright City, the hotel is close to landmarks such as the Great Wild Goose Pagoda and Daci'en Temple.

The LXR Hotels & Resorts in Xi'an will have 118 guest rooms. The hotel's design features a sunken courtyard that provides guests with a tranquil setting while its dining options will offer a modern take on local flavors, combining Xi'an heritage with modern innovation.

For wellness and fitness enthusiasts, the hotel will feature a swimming pool, fitness center, and a variety of wellness experiences. Additionally, guests will benefit from the Hilton Honors loyalty program at all 24 different Hilton hotels.

Zhong Ding Guo Sheng chairman Li Cheng Ping said: “This new hotel will offer guests a perfect combination of unique cultural characteristics, diverse accommodation choices, and unique tourism experiences.

“With Hilton's expertise in luxury tourism and global hotel management, we believe that LXR will become a new tourism brand in the city, attracting more tourists and thus contributing to the development of high-quality tourism in Xi'an.”
