Hotter temperatures are expected throughout the week
CHILLICOTHE ― Those in Ross County should prepare for some very cold weather this week.
The rise of arctic air is expected to bring cold temperatures to the area, with some days looking very bad. The weather should begin Saturday night and continue through Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast shows a high of 41 degrees on Saturday before temperatures drop to below 17 with a slight chance of snow.
Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 22, with a low of -2 overnight.
Monday will bring a high of 8 degrees and a low of around -3.
Tuesday should be mostly sunny, with a high of 11 and a low of -6 degrees.
Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 19 degrees and a low near 10.
Thursday will be partly sunny with temperatures reaching 31 degrees.
