How Like Us Is Maria Menounos?
Maria Menounos it proves that he is just like that Us thank you to my husband Kevin Undergarohis many nicknames.
“So Keven, in the early days, called me Froggy,” the TV show host, 46, exclusively reveals to the latest magazine. Us Weekly. “That went away when I stopped being cute, I started being a type A girl … that's what she's saying.”
Menounos jokes that Undergaro's nicknames for him went from cute to teasing as their connection grew. The couple tied the knot on New Year's Eve 2017 in Times Square after 15 years of dating. Now, Undergaro's monikers for his wife range from “Mrs. Bitch” to “The Crowd Goes Wild” — and Menounos explains why.
“Keven is funny and has a lot of nicknames for everyone. Each of our dogs has 50 words and Keven likes to mess with me,” he said. “So we're going to Chili's for dinner and the woman says, 'Oh, how many?' He'll go, 'One.' He will go, 'Two, and one person.' And the waiter is always like, 'What?'”
Menounos teases that Undergaro, 57, has a “dark sense of humor.” In addition to having random nicknames, Menounos shares that he and Undergaro have their daily conversations in an interesting place.
“Keven and I have our morning meetings in the shower,” he says. “That's where we look at everything.”

With us: What's the last thing you're waiting in line for?
Menounos: Groceries. You wait in line to pay for your groceries, I did that. I don't like waiting in lines … I hate lines.

Menounos: I don't know. I remember my college days in Boston, but that's about it. I spent a lot of time cleaning nightclubs in Boston.

With us: What was the last meal you made for yourself or your family?
Menounos: I bought cauliflower crust and made my super pizza. So [for] my super pizza, you use Rao's sauce, you get chopped garlic, you get fresh oregano, you get shaved Parmesan. [and] put that there. Make a little salt, then add fresh mozzarella – sliced - and throw another mozzarella on top. A little dash of oregano on top [and] put in the oven.
With us: What celebrity news are you obsessing over right now?
Menounos: I didn't care about celebrity stories. I'm sorry. I never really cared in the first place. I was supposed to be a sports anchor. I just fell for it. This just happened. I like everybody, but I don't really care what everybody does unless it's something I want to see. I'm happy for everyone to do their thing, but I'm not looking for more [for] what everyone else does. That's not me. … It's figuring out how to be better, how to live, how to give little Fs, how to heal — that's my area of strength.
