Oregon State head coach Mitch Canham was at Disneyland with his family when he got the call giving him the go-ahead to start working the phones and form the 2025 Beavers program as an independent program.
“It was a constant connection as soon as I had the opportunity to follow this path,” Canham recalls. “Actually, we were at Disneyland. We had a two-day trip to drop off the kids at Disneyland, and I don't think sleep was an option after that. “
