Inside the Hollywood Treatment Center and What the $165,000 Price Includes

“They all have 1,000 thread counts, all sheets of Egyptian cotton,” Taite said recently. Us Weekly in a special interview. “You'll walk in and you'll see their Carrara chocolate on their mantle. And it's not like the clothes you get at some lame place.”
Carrara's $165,000-a-month price tag includes plenty of exercise class options like tai chi, special forms of yoga, pilates, and several pools, a spa, flowers from a French florist — and one can't forget the $600 candles ! Moreover, you can even bring your dog.
There is also no shortage of skin care products at the health center. “You know you can be in Carrara for 30 days and get treatment every day and not get the same treatment? I'm talking about facials, scrubs, wraps, massages, variations of it all,” he said.

Taite said he got about 2,000 students to become a chef, but when he saw a woman who worked as Stevie Wonder's chef, he hired her “on the spot.” He then told the “amazing” woman that he wanted the diet to focus on blue-green foods because “part of self-care is what we put into our bodies.”
The “blue zone diet” is primarily plant-based, focusing on unprocessed foods designed to improve overall health. Carrara follows suit by incorporating many new ingredients into its menu.
“Mediterranean food … [the chef] make boiled salmon and Chilean sea bass with lotus root and kale and all these delicious exotic vegetables,” he says of the food served at Carrara. “It's natural, and it's prepared fresh every day, and it's prepared with love every day, [by] a person [that] he really cares.”
Taite also noted that the treatment center is not all gifted.
“People come to therapy, completely broken, ashamed. They feel like they've been an ass their whole life,” she said. “When people come to therapy, they need to be loved, nurtured and respected and supported, sympathized, [be given] empathize and adapt to a person's needs before they know they have a need. That's what matters. Now, Carrara is designed for people who must have the best experience under these harsh conditions. “
He continued, “It's not for people who have to have everything that's great … it's for people who have to have a comfortable experience that they can have under these difficult circumstances.”

Taite is the former owner of Cliffside Malibu, where he worked with male celebrities Scott Disick again Oscar De La Hoya. Taite's passion for helping people with addiction stems from his personal understanding and experience of what it was like to be an addict for two decades. (Taite has now celebrated more than 20 years of sobriety.)
Taite also says that the main difference between Carrara and other treatment centers is that they “don't leak” patient information. “We will never consider it… Their identity will be protected for sure,” he said.
