Jay Leno is “fine” after a serious fall outside his hotel.

The comedian covered his black eye with an eye patch as he arrived at Monday's Comedy for Koby event in Beverly Hills.

“I was staying in a hotel on a hill,” Leno explained to TMZ. “The restaurant was there [at the bottom]but I didn't have a car. To get to it, you had to walk a mile and a half round.”

The “Jay Leno's Garage” star chose to take a shortcut. Instead of taking it down, Leno “went down the hill” and hit his head on a rock. The comedian also revealed his black eye under an eye patch.

The collapse happened just hours before Leno was set to take the stage.

“Well, I did a show and when I came back from LA I went to the hospital.”

“It's not that big of a deal,” he said without breaking his schedule. “Okay.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to a representative for Leno for further comment.
