Joe Rogan asked Donald Trump about the details of how 2020 was stolen. Then he could only laugh at the answer
Joe Rogan was seen laughing as he pressed former president Donald Trump to clarify how the 2020 election was rigged.
The Republican nominee sat down Friday for an interview with the No. 1 broadcaster. 1. The interview lasted three hours and delayed Trump's appearance in Traverse City, Michigan, later in the day.
At one point, Trump and Rogan began discussing the 2020 election.
“I won at will,” Trump said, “I lost at will … I didn't lose.”
Rogan then seemed to laugh.
“They said I lost, Joe, they said I lost by 22,000 votes,” Trump continued. “That's like one-tenth of one percent, less than that. It's a small thing. Twenty-two thousand votes were cast throughout this period.
“Fifty-one wise men lied, lied, they knew it was Hunter's, it was in his bed. They say it was created by Russia. Russia, Russia, Russia. It was a Russian hoax. “
That exchange came as Rogan continued to ask Trump for examples of how the 2020 election was “crooked” as Trump said.
“Well, let's start, let's start with the simple ones. They had to get legal authorization to do the things they did, and they didn't get it in many cases, they didn't get it,” Trump said.
Rogan asked what the “things were,” and the Republican nominee could only say “whatever.”
“Like the extension of voting, early voting. All these different things Legally, they had to get legal approvals. You don't have to go too far,” said the 78-year-old nominee.
“If you look at Wisconsin, they just admitted that the election was rigged, rigged and stolen. They would not provide access to certain areas of the ballots because the ballots had not been signed. It was not the first. They were–we can get into this. We can go to the polls, or we can go to the overalls. I will give you another way.”
The podcaster then asked Trump if he could produce the evidence, to which Trump replied “uh.” He then goes into the bounty about the Russian laptop and Hunter Biden's laptop.
Although there is no evidence of fraud in most elections, Trump continues to push the idea that the election was stolen. It was a centerpiece of his campaign against Democratic challenger Kamala Harris.
Earlier this month, during a rally in Michigan, Trump addressed his stolen election claims as he spoke shortly after prosecutor Jack Smith filed a criminal complaint against the former president accusing him of election meddling.
“You know the last time, in the last election, we did very well in 2016 and a lot of people don't know that we did much better in 2020,” Trump told the crowd on October 4. “We won, we won, we won, it was a rigged election, a rigged election.
“You have to tell Kamala Harris, that's why I'm doing it again, if I thought I was lost, I wouldn't be doing this again. You know where I would be right now, on the beaches of Monte Carlo maybe, or somewhere have a nice life.”
