Kathryn Hahn Receives Outstanding Historical Nudity Award

Agatha Everything Goes turned out to be one of the best shows of the Disney+ MCU, one that features quirky characters, fun characters, and plenty of dark laughs. All of these would be good reasons to sing, but the first episode revealed another reason: our main character is naked and flashes the audience from behind. Recently, Jennifer Hudson decided to reward Kathryn Hahn for her fearless Marvel nudity with a (ahem) cheeky plaque that read “The First Woman to Show Butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Marvel's First Nude Woman
Before giving the star her award, Jennifer Hudson asked Agatha Everything Goes when he realizes she's “the first woman to show a butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?” Kathryn Hahn clarified that she did not know that shedding her clothes would make Marvel history but now she is happy to share this privilege with Chris Hemsworth, who showed her love for God. Thor: Love and fame. “Thor and I,” Hahn laughed before receiving his plaque, “just our backs plated in gold—that's my dream.”
Idea by Kathryn Hahn
If you think about Hollywood's sad history of exploiting female stars, you might think that this episode of skintight titillation in the first episode of Agatha Everything Goes it was the idea of a Disney executive, who probably didn't want the show to bleed viewers like this The Acolyte he did.
However, Kathryn Hahn told Jennifer Hudson that this epic Marvel nudity was her idea. The script had him wearing a dress at the moment where he broke the illusion and wandered outside, but the actor decided that wearing said clothes would be very different.
Upon reading a note about her character wearing a dress, the famous actress quickly asked, “I wonder if you're going to wear a dress?” Kathryn Hahn's idea was that her Marvel character should rock nudity in this scene to help illustrate the fact that Agatha was “just mean” at the time. Because she “couldn't even imagine who she was,” the last thing she'd worry about was holding the dress and hiding her Disney derriere from the audience.
Hudson praised Kathryn Hahn for her commitment to the Marvel role and her willingness to embrace nudity in the name of character development. As for the Agatha Everything Goes star, recalls that day with wistful amusement, laughing as he notes that “there were a lot of double-sided tapes.” In addition, he could not sneak while shooting because “every time I moved it was like a squeak, a sneer, a scream.”
Needless to say, a bare Kathryn Hahn set the internet on fire, and it didn't take long for Marvel fans to celebrate her nudity. And not just for angsty reasons: the MCU tends to keep things PG-13, making it rare to see even a bare butt (as in Thor: Love and fame) or on-screen sex (as in Forever again Jessica Jones). Undressing her character symbolizes that Agatha feels free, but it also symbolizes something else: namely, that. Agatha Everything Goes it will not play by standard rules.
Agatha All Song Confirmed
So far, that's been a solid decision: recently, Disney boasted that the show has increased its viewership by 35 percent since the series began. Word of mouth is working, and it seems that this show has finally found the missing ingredient for the Marvel TV series. Simply put, it was Kathryn Hahn (in all her naked glory) all along.
