Keke Palmer's Beauty Style Has Changed Since Becoming a 'Tired' Mom
Keke Palmer has been real about making time for her beauty brand since giving birth to her son Leo in February 2023.
As Palmer, 31, starred in an episode of VogueIn the “Secrets of Beauty” YouTube series, she explained how her style has changed since she welcomed Leo, 9 months, whom she shares with her ex-husband Darius Jackson.
“Sometimes I have to really pull myself together to do the routine,” Palmer admitted as she touched up her makeup. “I'm tired,” he continued.
Although Palmer has an even busier schedule now, she still makes self-care a priority, using some of her favorite products including Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation, NARS's Radiant Creamy Concealer, Charlotte Tilbury's Bronzing Powder, Patrick Ta's Creme & Powder Blush Duo, Huda Beauty's Liquid Matte Lipstick and more.
Elsewhere in a YouTube video, Palmer shared how she gets her natural curls to be as lovely as she is.
“When I first started doing my hair natural, I wasn't sure what to do. “A lot of people wash and go, a lot of people do twist outs, and I wanted to find out which style,” she said. After searching for the perfect method, Palmer realized that flexi sticks worked best for her. She revealed a blue stick on her head, proving how smooth she is and explaining how to make her strands.
“I'm a protective style girl,” says Palmer, noting that she likes to play with wigs, but has come to love her natural hair “and the uniqueness of it.”
To fix her curls, Palmer applied Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shine Mist to her hair and gently separated the coils with her fingers. She then used a wide-toothed comb to separate her strands even more.

After receiving Leo, Palmer was only told Us Weekly in March that her skin returned to its “old ways” with adult acne.
“[When] I was pregnant with my son, my skin has never been better,” she said. “Now, [my skin] it has returned to its old ways.”
Palmer also joked Us that she will get “pregnant” again just to avoid other pimples. Things we do for beauty!
