Kelly Osbourne slams celebrities seeking 'photo ops' amid California wildfires
Kelly Osbourne has criticized celebrities who she thinks are using the California fires as “photographs.”
“Is it just me being a normal egotistical, naive person or is it really disturbing to see all these famous people using other people's pain and suffering as an image to say, 'Look, I'm helping, I'm doing this, I'm doing that?'” he asked in a TikTok video earlier this week.
“I don't believe you're helping because you're getting attention for helping, I believe you're helping because you want to. I'm confused, I think it's wrong,” added Osbourne, 40. “No one was asking you to come out and give me a hug, go home.”

The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne did not call any celebrities.
His comments come after Hollywood actress Justine Bateman accused Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle of using the Palisades Fire as a “photo op.”
“Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers,” Bateman, 58, wrote to X on Saturday evening. “What a disgusting 'photo op' they achieved.”

“They're looking at the damage?” he asked, referring to the media photos he reposted on social media. “Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists. Disaster tourists.”
Video shot by Fox 11 in Los Angeles showed Harry and Markle in Pasadena, meeting with the city's mayor, Victor Gordo.
Fox News Digital also learned that Prince Harry and Markle opened their home to friends and family who were forced to evacuate, and donated clothing, baby items and other essentials to help the affected community.

Meanwhile, other celebrities, including Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, have criticized artists who have promoted themselves during the fire.
Lee, 62, took to social media earlier this week to criticize celebrities promoting albums and tours as Los Angeles was hit hard by the fire.

“It makes me—sick to see so many people [carrying] for posting on lame social media!” Lee wrote on Instagram.
“Guys right now nobody gives a flying f— if your record drops or the next concert is when most people are in the middle of the biggest disasters of all time!”
He concludes his writing by saying, “I find that the relief of humor is permanent [needed]but Jesus Christ let you and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can't.”

In a report released Thursday evening, the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that 10 people died in the Palisades Fire, and 17 people were killed in the Eaton Fire.
