King Charles continued his cancer treatment for a second year
King Charles III will continue his cancer treatment in 2025, Fox News Digital has confirmed.
As Her Majesty has battled an undisclosed cancer for a year, her health is “pretty good,” according to People magazine.
Charles' cancer treatment remains a “manageable condition,” and “his cycle of treatment will continue into the next year,” a Buckingham Palace source told the outlet.

While Charles, 76, continues his cancer journey, he plans to continue his community work as he has a tour planned around the UK and abroad in the New Year.
It is not clear what type of treatment Charles received during his battle with cancer.
However, Dame Laura Lee, chief executive of cancer charity Maggie's – of which Queen Camilla is a patron – said Charles' treatment was not unusual.
“It's very common for treatment to go on for a very long time, as with the treatment that the Princess of Wales went through, which is a solid period of treatment over a year,” Lee explained to Sky News. “Then it gets to the stage where it's almost over, and he's still recovering from some of the side effects of his treatment.
“So we have immunotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy. There are all kinds of different treatments. And so it's not surprising at all,” he told the outlet.

As Charles continues his battle with cancer, he is preparing for Christmas surrounded by several members of the royal family.
Charles and Camilla plan to attend their last major community meetings before Christmas, including meetings with local community volunteers and religious representatives. The royal family will move on to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk where they will host Christmas.

The King's recovery comes almost a year after he was diagnosed with the disease.
Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer in February.
“During the King's recent hospital procedure to enlarge a benign prostate, a separate issue was noted,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time. “Subsequent tests identified a type of cancer.”

After taking a short break, Her Majesty returned to her public duties in April.
Shortly after, the palace revealed that the Princess of Wales was also battling cancer.
Kate Middleton had a planned stomach surgery when they found out that her condition was “non-cancerous.” However, further tests showed that “cancer was present.” He was advised to start chemotherapy by his medical team.
On November 7 when Prince Williams visited Cape Town, South Africa, he admitted that 2024 had been “brutal” and the “hardest year” of his life. He considered becoming the Prince of Wales after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022.

“Trying to deal with everything else and keep everything on track was really hard,” the 42-year-old said, quoted by People magazine. “But I'm proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things he's done. But from a personal family point of view, it's been … brutal.”
