Library of Congress email system hacked earlier this year by 'external adversary'

The Library of Congress' email system was heavily hacked earlier this year by an “external adversary,” Fox News can confirm.

It is unclear whether the hack compromised the accounts of those who work for the House and Senate directly.

However, Fox News is told that the US Capitol Police has referred the matter to the FBI, and is investigating the extent of the hack.
