Lizzo wears an Ozempic-themed Halloween costume inspired by the show 'South Park' after the scandal
Lizzo dons an Ozempic-themed Halloween costume as the singer pokes fun at an episode of “South Park” that made her a comedy earlier this year.
On Monday, the 36-year-old took to Instagram to share photos and videos of herself wearing a red and white packet of the fictional drug called Lizzo with a yellow measuring tape tied around her waist.
Last month Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, slammed claims that the weight loss was due to Ozempic.
“LizzOzempic dump,” the four-time Grammy award winner captioned one post.
In her slideshow, Lizzo shared a video of herself holding a slice of pizza while standing next to someone dressed as the popular “South Park” character Eric Cartman.

The next two photos showed Lizzo standing in front of a black car as she flashed a peace sign and gave a thumbs up. Lizzo was seen sitting in a car with a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila in the next two photos and ended her post with a video of herself rolling up the car window.
In another post, Lizzo and someone in an Eric Cartman costume were seen dancing to Rosé and Bruno Mars' “APT.”
“It's that time of the year when I feed you in a funny way and you're very welcome baby,” she captioned it, along with a tongue-out smiley face.

The singer also shared a photo of himself doing a fake advertisement for Lizzo weight loss medicine. The ad is emblazoned with the words, “Need some self love? Try Lizzo! Ditch the guilt. Gain confidence.”
The warning label on the ad reads, “Side effects include a smile on your face and a pep in your step.”
In another post, Lizzo uploaded a video of herself in costume as she moved away from the camera and danced in front of a cut-out of Eric Cartman's character. He was seen posing in front of this scene in three photos that will be in another post.

Lizzo's mockery of her “South Park” gig comes after she picked up a joke about herself during an episode of the long-running animated series in May.
A “South Park” TV special titled “The End of Obesity” referred to the singer as an alternative to Ozempic, using the power to “not give an if—.”
“Lizzo is FDA approved to make you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic,” the voice-over said. “In studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer care about how much they weigh. Lizzo helps you eat everything you want and keep a little exercise.”

“I lowered my standards and expectations,” explained one character. “I don't give two s—s!”
Sellers added, “Some patients report constipation while listening to Lizzo … Serious side effects may include pancreatitis, hypothermia and literally blowing your ears out.”
Later Lizzo took over Instagram and TikTok making a live response at the scene.

“My worst fear has come true,” Lizzo told fans. “I got a reference to it in an episode of South Park. I'm so scared. I'm going to disagree with it right now.”
After the clip, she commented, “That's crazy. I feel like, mah, I'm really b—-. I'm really b—-. Show the world how to love yourself and not give a f— until these men in Colorado know who I am and put it in their 25-year-old cartoon.”
He continued, “I'm really a b—- and I show you how not to give a f— and I'm going to keep showing you how not to give a f—k.”
In an Instagram post last month, Lizzo shut down rumors that she was taking Ozempic after showing off her weight loss.
“When you finally get Ozempic symptoms after 5 months of training and a calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote in a video post.

The post was captioned “'oZeMpIc or R cOkE?' – fan,” along with a series of crying face emojis. The caption was directed at a social media user who commented on a previous post shared by Lizzo, which featured a video of her pulling on a pair of black leather shorts over a beige suit by her brand Yizzy.
In her latest post, Lizzo included a screenshot of the comments section of her previous post, where one Instagram user wrote, “did you use Ozempic or smoke coke.”
Lizzo replied by writing “Whyyyy do u follow me?”
The “Good As Hell” hitmaker chronicled her weight loss journey on Instagram. In an April interview with the New York Times, he explained that he was on a diet and said that his method was to drop pounds gradually.
“I've been working out, losing a little weight,” Lizzo told the outlet.
