Love Is Blind Season 7 Taylor and Garrett's Relationship Timeline
Love Is Blind season 7 stars Taylor Krause again Garrett Josemans they are proof that the test works – and that the “wife effect” is real.
Taylor and Garrett formed an instant relationship on Netflix pods, where they decided to get engaged in private. Their chemistry only got stronger when the two scientists met in person.
Taylor and Garrett both said “I do” during the season 7 finale, which airs in October 2024.
“Taylor, as you've said many times, the good thing about us is that we didn't go into this expecting to find our man,” Garrett began his vows. “It was coming in here and learning more about ourselves and having a glimmer of hope that we might find the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with.”
He added, “Getting the connection that we had in the pods and getting that feeling that I've never felt before and … then I just have that joy of seeing it. I never thought it was possible to feel this way, to find someone who I think is a perfect match for me and I feel a perfect match for you. That's exactly what I feel it is. This is cooperation.”

Pod Bond Like No Other
Taylor and Garrett quickly connected during the audition with their science backgrounds and element-inspired tattoos. One thing Taylor refused to share, however, was his nationality, keeping in mind their purpose Love Is Blind.
“When it came to what I looked like to the police, I really wanted to keep that as private as possible,” Taylor said exclusively. Us Weekly in October 2024. “I didn't think long and hard about whether to reveal my nationality.”

“The pods were actually very difficult,” Taylor said Us. “Being on camera all the time and getting used to it and having these deep conversations and, like, I started to really like this guy. Being called for a count when I was just trying to think, was the first time I felt that punch in the gut during the experience. I didn't delay him because I knew where he was coming from.”
On One Knee
Garrett overcame his misgivings about Taylor's reluctance to share his mother's name, and they continued to connect in the pods. He proposed after she sent him handwritten love letters from her late grandparents.
“I love everything about you. I think you are an incredible person. “I think you're smart, you're very caring, you're kind, you're real, you're loving,” Garrett said when he proposed. “In here, I've come to love the person you are. I fell in love with all your little features. I look forward to seeing more of them. I like to find out things about you that you don't even tell me and pick me up on.”
In Real Life
When Garrett and Taylor met in person, he got down on one knee again – this time wearing an engagement ring. They soon took off on a whirlwind vacation to Mexico, where their bond grew even stronger.
Back home in Washington, DC, Taylor expressed her hope that Garrett would cut her hair, admitting that she just didn't like his short and spiky style.
Roadblocks Ahead
Before the actors The Great Gatsby-inspired party, Taylor found out that Garrett was hooking up with an ex-girlfriend. According to Garrett, his former flame recently texted him.
“Obviously it meant nothing,” he insisted. “Like, I don't feel any other way. I saw it this morning, I didn't know what to do so I just 'liked it' and didn't think about it all day.”
Taylor, on the other hand, made it clear that Garrett should not have responded at all.
“I want to make it clear that if other women from the past talk to you, just shut up,” she said. “'I'm engaged.' That's all. Close, you can just leave them unread or worse, 'like' something.”
However, during the bash, Taylor overheard Garrett confessing to the other couple that he did more than just say “like” a text message.
He explained, “I texted him, and I just said, 'Hey, I didn't tell you this, but I met someone. [and] I'm engaged,' and basically, 'I don't think we should keep texting and I hope you're in good health. See you later.'”
Although Taylor was initially upset by Garrett's abandonment, they were able to get their relationship back on track. Garrett later went with Taylor to California to meet his family.
Married Happiness
The two tied the knot on the same anniversary as Taylor and Garrett's parents.
“Well, G, it's rare to see someone with a soul like yours. It really is. You are truly a person who sees people and I know that you see the truth,” Taylor said in her vows. “I also like your humor and your wit. You are truly an amazing glass speller, but more importantly, you will be someone who helps make the really heavy things in our lives feel lighter. When Love Is Blind season 7 began airing, viewers noticed that Garrett has after the show “glow-up” with her hair and wardrobe. Due to the “wife effect,” an online theory that women improve their spouse's appearance after marriage, it was assumed that the new style was created by Taylor. Both Taylor and Garrett dismissed the speculation without giving much away.
“I'm very grateful for all the support from the viewers of the show and I'm not trying to destroy anyone,” he wrote in a TikTok comment. “I'm trying to make funny videos! You can probably see couples that you know are already broken up, sharing photos together on IG from their time on the show together. “
