Mark Wahlberg's Vegas Restaurant 'Open For Business' After Fire
Mark WalhbergA Las Vegas restaurant is still open for business despite suffering a small fire nearly two months after opening.
On Wednesday, November 6, video footage of the Flecha Cantina fire began to circulate on social media. The fire appeared to have taken place outside the restaurant, according to the clip. The second video shows firefighters responding to the scene.
The next day, however, the restaurant's official Instagram page assured patrons that the establishment was still accepting patrons.
“Flecha Cantina @shoptownsquare #LasVegas,” the restaurant captioned an Instagram video on Thursday, November 7. “Open 11AM to 11PM- stop by and get your vibe up.”
Another commenter quickly asked about what went down the day before.
“I heard that there was a small fire yesterday in the yard? Hope everyone is ok,β the person wrote. “See you soon! Love your food.. love the atmosphere.β

The Townsquare Las Vegas account responded first.
“There was a small fire in the Flecha Cantina yard last night,” they wrote. βThere were no injuries and TSLV thanks LVFD for their quick response. Flecha is open regular business hours.β
Flecha shared his response with fans as well, noting that there were “no injuries” and the restaurant is “open for business.”
TMZ reported on Wednesday that the fire was caused by a problem with one of the fire extinguishers in the courtyard of the restaurant.
Randy Sharpethe chief executive officer of the Wahlburgers restaurant group, has given more information about the incident, which happened at 5:30 pm local time.
“The whole front of the building has light windows, so it made it look dramatic, but not in a good way,” Sharpe said, as reported by Las Vegas Review-Journal on Wednesday. “The fire brigade came out immediately; they pressed it. It was out in 20 minutes. It was very little. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad.β
He mentioned that the establishment has started working again around 7:15 p.m
Wahlberg opened the first location of Flecha Cantina in Huntington Beach, California this past June. The Las Vegas facility had a grand opening months later in September, and the actor seems familiar since he lives in Nevada.
“I went home in less than 24 hours and over 25 people came up to me to talk about how amazing their experience was at Flecha in Vegas,” Wahlberg said in a video posted on the restaurant's Instagram account last month. “We have the best employees and the best partners.”
