Mary Brown he gives Us an inside look behind the scenes of Sister Wives.
“There are a lot of good memories,” Brown, 53, said of himself Us Weekly in December. “When I was scaling the mountain and falling across the snow. I don't even know what you call it.”
Meri starred in the TLC series since its debut in 2010 alongside her ex-husband Is Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown again Robyn Brown. Although Meri has been a champion in front of the camera for the past 19 seasons, she admitted that the first day of filming surprised her.
“I just think about that first scene when I was introduced, I didn't expect the cameras to be there,” he recalled. “I didn't know they existed. I would have been a little better.”
When the show began, Meri, Janelle, 55, and Christine, 52, were all married to Kody, 55, and he was in the process of dating Robyn, whom he married in 2014. However, their relationship has changed a lot since then. . Christine and Kody split in 2021 while Janelle and Kody called it quits the following year. Although Meri prefers to get ready for the camera, she teased that Kody is the most likely “blooper reel star.”
“Because of all the things that come out of his mouth you have to have a blooper,” he laughed.
Although the Brown family has been open about their lives on screen, there are topics Meri doesn't like to talk about on the show.

Us Weekly“I don't like talking or hearing other people talk about intimacy, PDA and finances,” he said. Us. “I think finance is not a necessary conversation.”
As for who takes the longest to get ready, Meri admitted it's a toss-up between her or Robyn.
“I always take an hour and a half to get ready,” he admitted, “Sometimes I do it at 45, but that's the only time I stay at home.”
While Kody remains married to Robyn to this day, Janelle, Christine and Meri, (aka, the ex-wives club), remain close as they continue to live as a family. Meri shared that over the years her favorite family gatherings had to be Thanksgiving when all their children were there. Meri and Kody have a son, Leon, 29. Kody is also the father of six children: Logan, 30, Maddie, 29, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 23, and Savannah, 20 with whom he lives with Janelle. Kody and Christine also have six children together: Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, 28, Paedon, 26, Gwendlyn, 23, Ysabel, 21, and Truely, 14. With fourth wife Robyn, Kody shares son Solomon, 13, and daughter Ariella, 8. He also adopted Robyn's children from his previous marriage: David, 24, Aurora, 22, and Breanna, 20. (Kody and Janelle were also parents to son Garrison, who died in March at age 25.)
“As the children grew up, they went out to do different things on different holidays,” said Meri. “But on Thanksgiving almost everyone was always there.”
Meri added that of all the women on the show, Christine was the “best” cook but teased that she had done “some very bad things.”
