NFL player Tom Brady laces up skates, gets a lesson from NHL legend Tie Domi
Tom Brady is the most successful athlete in NFL history.
But a recent video showed that the seven-time Super Bowl winner may not be as skilled when he steps into the hockey rink. The former quarterback and current broadcaster got a great opportunity to have an experienced coach as he laced up his skates and put on his hockey gear this week.
Former NHL star Tie Domi could be heard talking somewhere behind the camera lens.
“Have you noticed?” Domi asked Brady as Brady held up a red skating training aid.

Tie then tried to give his son Max Domi some encouragement.
“Max… will come to you Max!” the retired Toronto Maple Leafs great said in a video captioned “Day 1 … first time to skate.”

Brady urged Max to take it easy on Brady since Brady was just getting started in hockey.
“Come on, Max! Day 1!” Brady replied.
“This is 10 minutes, he's already flying,” Tie commented. “It's really good, TB.”
Another video appeared on Domi's Instagram story on Saturday that appears to show how quickly Brady picked things up from the day before.
After being photographed with a training aid, Brady was later shown skating with a hockey stick in a video that was captioned “Day 2 … second time on the ice you can't imagine how amazing this is.”
Domi was also there to give Brady some words of encouragement.
“Slide this stick right, slide straight in front of you. Good job. … Awesome TB,” Domi said.
Brady was skating inside the RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House at the Prudential Center, the home arena of the New Jersey Devils.

But Brady won't be spending his entire weekend in New Jersey. He will be in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday for the highly anticipated game between the Packers and the Detroit Lions.
Both teams will enter Week 9 with six wins. Kickoff for “America's Game of the Week” is set for 4:25 pm ET, and fans can watch the game on FOX.
