Nicole Kidman Wakes Up 'Crying And Gasping' At The Thought Of Death

I Baby girl the actor, 57, shared a new interview GQ published on Monday, November 18, that he has opened up to feel emotions, rather than shutting them down, as he embraces his 50 years.
Kidman said her emotions were “even closer” to her face in her mid-50s.
“Death. Communication. Life comes and hits you,” he explained some of the things he feels more than before. “And again [the] losing parents and raising children and marriage and all the things that go into making a completely sane person. I'm in all those places. Such is life, alas. It's definitely a trip.” (Kidman shares daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, with husband Keith Urban. She is also a mother to a daughter Bella31, and a son Connor29, she lives with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.)
Kidman continued, “And it affects you as you get older that … waking up at 3 in the morning crying and gasping for something. If you are in it and don't care about it. And I'm in it. Fully in it.”
The Oscar winner recently mourned the death of her mother, Janelleaged 84 in September, prompting him to leave the Venice International Film Festival early to return home to Australia.
“Today I arrived in Venice to find out quickly, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed away,” Baby girl director Halina Reijn read a statement on Kidman's behalf after winning best actress at the ceremony. “I'm shocked, I have to go to my family, but this medal belongs to him, he shaped me, he guided me and made me.”
The statement continued, “I am so grateful that I was able to say her name to all of you about Halina, the collision of life and art is painful, and my heart is broken.”
In October, Kidman spoke about her grief for her mother while attending the Los Angeles premiere. A lioness season 2.
“It was difficult. It's a tough road. I stayed there,” he said.
The actor admitted that it was bittersweet to celebrate his career success without his mother to share it.
“I wish my mom was there,” Nicole told the outlet. “That would be one thing I can say. Everything is going well with work but I wish my mother was here.”
