When you're a parent, sometimes you have to be creative to make things work.
Brittany Mahomes29, proved this when she shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 1 how she was able to exercise while pregnant and with two small children.
In the clip, the pregnant star can be seen doing reps with dumbbells while daughter Sterling, 3, sits on her mom's head while wearing pink pajamas.
Meanwhile, Brittany's son Bronze, 2, watches from downstairs.
Heavily pregnant Brittany is expecting her third child with NFL star husband Patrick Mahomes “any day now” and her workout clothes showed off her blooming baby bump.
Brittany and Patrick, 29, announced in July that they are preparing to welcome their third child. “Round three, here we come,” they shared in an Instagram post at the time.
Patrick gave a postgame update on his wife's pregnancy on Christmas Day after he and the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers, telling reporters after the game that Brittany was getting ready to give birth “any day now.”
“Brittany says I've been putting too much pressure on her this season,” added Patrick. “So, I have to try not to put pressure on him with these football games – and say goodbye.”
The couple first met as juniors in high school, before getting engaged in 2020 after eight years together. They later tied the knot in March 2022.
Patrick opened up about their third child, who is the last addition to the family, telling reporters in July that his family would be complete.
“I said three and I'm done,” the linebacker told reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp press conference. “I always wanted to have children. I grew up in a locker room, and it had a huge impact on my life. We are on our third child now. … Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our lives.”
Patrick has also praised his wife, applauding Brittany for her ability to raise children.
“I think people don't even realize how much money he makes,” the athlete said during an appearance in May on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and doing it where I can focus on football and focus on my career and everything like that.”
He added: “[She’s] Hall of Fame Mother and Hall of Fame Wife, [which] makes it very easy. I mean, when you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and push me to be great and do a lot of good things on her own. “
