Pregnant Brittany Mahomes Shares One Workout She Struggles With
Brittany Mahomes she has never been someone who can stay busy while pregnant.
But according to Brittany, 29, there's an exercise routine she's starting to struggle with.
Sharing photos of her various workouts on her Instagram Story on Friday, November 8, Brittany revealed that it's getting harder and harder to stop.
“Step ups — one of the exercises that killed me when I was pregnant,” she wrote, adding a laughing emoji.
Brittany admitted that she still enjoys other forms of exercise, including sumo squats using hand weights.
“Sumo anything, sign me up,” he wrote in another video shared on his Instagram Story.
Brittany and her husband Patrick29, announced in July that they were expecting their third child. The couple are already parents to daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, who turns two in November.
This is not the first time that Brittany has had her fans with her pregnancy plan.
In October, Brittany's routine was revealed thanks to her fitness trainer Kirsty Raewho shared on Instagram how the pregnant star was training to avoid “mommy butt”.
“Many women experience what's called 'mommy butt' during and after pregnancy, which happens when the glutes lose shape and weight,” Rae captioned a video of Brittany working out. “This is often caused by changes in posture and movement as our bodies ours adapts to pregnancy.”
A personal trainer has explained the steps some expectant mothers can take to prevent it.
“By focusing on the glute joint and maintaining strength training, you can continue to build muscle,” he explains. “It's all about proper movement, posture, and continuous overload.”
Brittany is often tight-lipped about the reality of being pregnant with her third child, and has previously admitted that this one has been the hardest so far.
“Hello, it's just me and my skin [sic] losing my mind,” Brittany captioned an unfiltered selfie on her Instagram Story in July. “This pregnancy has been very difficult for me…sickness, fatigue and skin now!”
Brittany and her NFL star husband Patrick first met as juniors in high school, before getting engaged in 2020 after eight years together.
The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and have kept fans updated on their growing family all along.
However, this will be the couple's last pregnancy, with Patrick sharing in July that he was “done” after three.
“I said three and I'm done,” the linebacker told reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp press conference. “I always wanted to have children. I grew up in a locker room, and it had a huge impact on my life. We are on our third child now. … Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our lives.”
