Renzo Furlan, coach of Jasmine Paolini, named WTA coach of the year 2024

Thanks to Paolini's great success his coach, Renzo Furlan, has been named the WTA coach of the year for 2024.

The award is voted on by WTA coaches. Started in 2018, the award had never been won by an Italian before. Previous winners are:

Furlan, a former world no.19. He first worked with Paolini in 2015, but became his full-time coach in 2020.
