Back in April 2023, Kirschenheiter first revealed that he would quit drinking in 2021. He was partly motivated to make the change after realizing that he was becoming more dependent on alcohol than he had been before.
“It turns out when you stop poisoning yourself, good things happen,” Kirschenheiter said Us at a viewing event held at Five Vines Wine Bar in San Juan Capistrano, California. “Honestly, the biggest thing it did was make me face some of the things I thought I was avoiding.”

As Kirschenheiter prepares to celebrate the end of the RHOC season 18, is thankful for her continued friendship with Simpson, 48. She's also happy to be in a better place Shannon Beador.
After Beador, 60, apologized for the things he said about Kirschenheiter's 2019 DUI arrest, the couple put a serious break from their previous feud.
“It meant a lot to me that he apologized and was sincere,” Kirschenheiter said. Us. “I could see.
