Riley Gaines shares powerful message to all men ahead of Election Day: 'Donald Trump took a bullet for you'

On Election Day Tuesday, former NCAA swimmer and OutKick contributor Riley Gaines has a message for a certain number of voters this year.

Gaines posted a video on social media saying that all men voted for Donald Trump in this presidential election, and explained why.

But first, he threw in Keith Olbermann, a sports and political commentator, who has long feuded with Gaines on social media.

“This is a message to all men, so if you're not a man, keep scrolling,” Gaines began. “Okay, now that Keith Olbermann is gone, guys, what are you doing?”

Gaines was then in the race for Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, on a football reference he made.

“Okay, I'll give you a football analogy. It's the last quarter and it's time to run the pick-six. Oh sorry, that was like the Tim Walz football,” Gaines said sarcastically.

After throwing some shade, Gaines got down to the real message of the men who follow her on social media.

“But really, guys, Donald Trump took a shot at you,” he said. “The least you can do is vote for a man. Vote like your country was taken from you, because it was taken. We need you men to get out and vote so that America can pay again, to make America safe again, to make America healthy. To make America beautiful again.

“They can call you Nazis, they can call you sad, they can call you trash. But don't give them the pleasure of calling you a beta man who didn't go out and vote.”

Gaines has been a staunch supporter of Trump this election year, including speaking at rallies and following his opponents, including billionaire Mark Cuban, the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks.

Gaines recently responded to Cuban's comments about Trump, saying he has never been around “smart” and powerful women. Cuban got tons of flak for these comments, including from Gaines, who ripped him in a separate video last week.

“Mark Cuban, you wouldn't know a strong and intelligent woman if she slapped you in the face. She's such a beta, you might be,” Gaines said. “If you're a woman and you're a Trump supporter, said Mark Cuban, you're stupid and weak.”

Gaines' fame is growing on social media as he has publicly said that transgender athletes should not attend women's sports.

While speaking at a Trump rally in Georgia, Gaines described his experience sharing a locker room with a male competitor during his college swimming days.

“I can share the heartbreaking details of what it was like to be forced to strip, inches from a 6-foot-4 man watching us strip naked, while doing the same, exposing his fully naked male body,” Gaines said. “There are no words to describe the violation and the betrayal, the humiliation we felt.”

Gaines is one of the main names in a lawsuit against the NCAA, in which she and other female athletes accuse the federal governing body of violating their Title IX rights because of its gender identity policies.
