Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Chelsea Arrested Again While On Bail
Rosie O'Donnelldaughter of, Chelsea O'Donnellhe was arrested for the third time, just five days after he was released from jail on bail for previous drug charges.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weeklya car was pulled over by police for loud noise in Niagara, Wisconsin, on November 18. Chelsea, 27, was one of two passengers in the car. The officer noticed that Chelsea was “picky” on the face and asked for any identifying information. Chelsea did not have identification on hand but gave her name and date of birth to the manager, according to the documents.
The officer ran his name and date of birth into his system and saw that he was out on bond for drug charges in Marinette and Oconto County in Wisconsin. (Chelsea was previously arrested in September and October and charged with child neglect and drug possession.)
After submitting his information, the officer ordered the K9 to sniff the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert. Law enforcement ordered Chelsea and the other occupants of the vehicle to exit the vehicle. Naloxone, which can be used to reverse the effects of an opiate overdose, was found in the trunk.
While searching her person for weapons, Chelsea removed a “clear smoking device” from her bra. According to court documents, the device had residue inside that was found to be methamphetamine.
During the hit-and-run, Chelsea was deemed “arrested” by authorities and handcuffed behind her back. After being 'calm and cooperative,' the restrictions were lifted.
Chelsea was thrown into the Marinette County Jail where she was searched a second time, where authorities discovered she was hiding a prescription pill bottle. The bottle included a clear bag of a crystal-like substance, a clear bag of hydrocodone, eight loose hydrocodone pills, 16 lamotrigine pills and one-half and three-half Alprazolam pills.
Chelsea faces five charges, including two counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of drug possession. He was also charged with resisting an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Days before Chelsea's arrest on November 18, she appeared in court for her October arrest. According to documents obtained by UsChelsea was ordered to “maintain complete sobriety” while out on bail, which was changed to $4,000. The terms included Chelsea abstaining from alcohol in addition to not consuming – and possessing – any illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia or controlled substances without a valid prescription.
According to records, Chelsea appeared in court via video conference on Monday, December 2 and remains in custody. His next court date is scheduled for Thursday, December 12.
