An elderly man in the Ukrainian port city of Kherson was killed after explosives were dropped on him from an airplane, while another man was shot dead, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on the Telegram messaging service.
- Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defense units destroyed 21 Ukrainian aircraft overnight targeting the border of Belgorod region and Bryansk, Voronezh and Kursk regions.

The drone strike sparked a fire at an unspecified industrial site and injured one person, according to Alexander Gusev, the governor of Voronezh region in southern Russia. He said emergency services were sent to the fire.
