During Carpenter's Los Angeles show, he invited the voice star Christina Aguilera onto the Crypto.com Arena stage.
Aguilera, 43, made her way into the venue, wearing black pants and silver knee-high boots as she belted out vocals for “Ain't No Other Man.” Carpenter, 25, then joined her on stage to finish the number, according to a photo on social media. They also sang Aguilera's “What a Girl Wants.”
Aguilera previously signed up the “Espresso” singer for a special remix of his eponymous debut album, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
“I'm obsessed with mom,” Carpenter joked in a video shared in September, referring to Aguilera. “I am his favorite. We actually have a relationship like he doesn't have any other children.”

“She may be short and sweet but don't underestimate the sheer power of Sabrina Carpenter's talent. It is the reason why he has reached the place he has achieved as one of the best singers of today,” Aguilera said last month. “He proves that good things come in small packages. Like our fellow 5-ft. As a woman with a similar history of Disney's young working class, I see firsthand and respect what it takes to stay clear while serving the needs of this business.”
Aguilera added, “Sabrina handles work with ease and charm while promoting, singing, and handling the press with her signature smile and charm.
Aguilera also called the 2024 Grammy nominee “refreshingly calm, collected, down to earth and focused.”
“Sabrina is where she is for a reason and ahead of her age,” Aguilera continued. “With his wit and sense of humour, he was able to connect with the audience in a unique style, with his songwriting and storytelling skills.”
Aguilera felt a strong connection with Carpenter, who was born the same year as the release of the first album at the age of 25.
“As exciting generations of pop princesses continue to emerge, I feel admirable and secure, knowing the journey is closer than ever,” Aguilera said in a statement. “But I have every belief and assurance that, in true Sabrina Carpenter fashion, she will conquer her future goals with grace, a little fun, the ability to laugh and enjoy the ride with confidence … and a playful pun or two.”
