Sean “Diddy” Combs and his legal team are proposing a new $50 million bail package as he awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

According to the Associated Press, Diddy, 54, filed a new request on Friday, November 8, saying that due to changed circumstances and new evidence, he should be allowed to prepare for his trial in May 2025 outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he has been arrested since September. The filing of the new petition serves as his fourth petition. He has been denied bail several times.

In the filing, Diddy's lawyers proposed a “very strict” bail package, complete with round-the-clock security monitoring, house arrest and restrictions on him being able to contact anyone, except his legal team.

He also won't have access to the internet or phone, and requested a pre-approved guest list of select family members. Additionally, the petition said Diddy would hand over his and his family's passports, for example USA Today.

Diddy was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering in September and has been in jail ever since. His legal troubles began in November 2023 when Cassie, 38, accused him of sexual assault and rape in the bombing case. He denied his claims and the case was filed out of court one day.

After the case, several people came forward with sexual assault charges against the rapper, which eventually led to Homeland Security raiding Diddy's homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection with the sex trafficking investigation.

Diddy's 14-page indictment was filed one day after his September 16 arrest in New York City. Court documents accuse the disgraced music star of hosting parties known as “Freak Offs,” which he allegedly filmed. Diddy allegedly “distributed various controlled substances to victims” as a control tactic.

Diddy and his lawyers have vehemently denied many of the charges against him. The rapper has denied charges of sex trafficking and fraud.
