Sister Wives: Kody Accuses David of Looking Over Robyn at First Look
Sister Wives patriarch Is Brown meets David Woolley first, again Robyn Brown takes a bigger role in this than her monogamous husband did in next week's episode of the TLC series.
Or at least that's how Kody saw it during their first face-to-face meeting with Christine Brown's new man. Robyn even commented “nice” after something David said, which probably ruffled her husband's feathers a little.
A preview shows that this meeting was very unusual. Kody jumped in and hugged David. The first question the father of 18 throws at his ex and his new beau is about their dating history. David noticed that the man with the rings was red in the face when the other subject seemed to be treating him badly. Then the whole day seemed to cause discord for Papa Brown.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Gets Selfish When She Meets David Woolley
Sister Wives Christine Brown's past and future collided when Kody Brown met David Woolley for the first time. And it sounds like the ex-husband became protective of his property, despite the little he had left with Christine's family.
Kody Brown's inquisitive mind kicked in when he came face to face with Christine and her new boyfriend. The first thing he asks the newlyweds is how long they have been dating. Before David Woolley could answer, Christine gave “a month and a half” as an answer to her ex-husband.
But when Kody asked David if he had seen the kids, meaning Christine's kids, he wasn't too happy with the answer. The answer to this question seems to fall under the Sister Wives the skin of the ancestors.
Is David Too Close For Kody's Comfort?
Christine informed her ex-husband that David Woolley met all of her descendants. Mykelti Brown Padron then stirred the pot a bit with what she added about her mother's boyfriend at the time.
She told her father that David even took care of her children alone, so that the ladies could get medicine for the children. Kody's comeback was “Wow”. This new boyfriend explained that he has a big family with eight children and 10 grandchildren, so he is used to being around children.
Robyn Brown thought David's experience was “good” but Kody seemed uncomfortable. The preview suggests Kody's low comfort level is due to David being too close to his children.
David later described his conversation with Sister Wives' husband. In the confessional, she said, “The first thing (Kody) doesn't say is, 'I heard you're holding my grandkids'”.
That's when Mykelti walked in to tell his dad that his mom's new boy was babysitting, David Woolley saw Kody's face go red. But what Kody saw about his new boyfriend was the way he looked at Robyn Brown.
Sister Wives: Eyes on Robyn Brown
I Sister Wives The patriarch's opportunity to speak about his opinion of David Woolley was an eye-opener. Kody said, “What was interesting was that David interacted with Robyn more and talked to Robyn more than I did”. So, was this jealousy on the part of Papa Brown?
Considering that one of Christine's biggest complaints about her previous marriage was that Robyn got all of Kody's attention, this comment came off as a little off-putting. But Sister Wives fans suggest that these scenes show a jealous Kody Brown.
His biggest concern seems to be that David Woolley is leaving his grandfather's place. But it also seems like Kody felt slighted when David made more eye contact with Robyn than he did. So, tune in Sunday night and see what Kody sees.
Perhaps David Woolley spoke to Robyn Brown more than he did to Kody Brown, as he suggested. Or maybe, as some fans have suggested, the former patriarch of a polygamous family showed his jealousy a little in the next episode of the TLC series.
