Taylor Swift attended Travis Kelce's Chiefs vs. Texans Playoff Game
Taylor Swift kick off the NFL postseason by rooting Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs against the Houston Texans.
The pop star, 35, supported the tight end, also 35, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, during a divisional playoff game on Saturday, January 18, wearing a chic black minidress with a belt Chanel pearl and matching checked jacket. She completed her look with a coordinating Chanel bag and her signature red lip.
Earlier this week, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be there. “You know it, baby,” he said during the Monday, January 13, episode of ESPN The Pat McAfee Show. “You know it's playoff, man.”
Kelce also made a reference to one of Swift's most famous lyrics while discussing his excitement for the game. “I feel angry,” he commented. “I feel 22 again, baby. Let's go.”
Saturday was the first qualifying game for the Chiefs of the 2024-2025 NFL season. After receiving the No. 1 in the AFC, the team earned home field advantage and a bye week in the wild card round, which took place last weekend. The Chiefs are fighting for three points after winning the Super Bowl in 2023 and 2024. If successful, they would become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Swift has always seemed happy cheering for Kelce all season for the Chiefs. Although he chose not to attend road games during the regular season, he attended every home game except for the December 2024 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, which coincided with his last game. The Eras Tour concert in Vancouver.
Swift also played a big role in Kelce's postseason run last year, attending every Chiefs game starting in 2024. He faced the cold in Kansas City when the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round in January 2024. He then traveled to Buffalo, New York, to see the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills. After the team defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore later that month, Swift celebrated with Kelce on the field at M&T Bank Stadium.
In February 2024, Swift made headlines when she traveled from Tokyo to Las Vegas to attend the Super Bowl during her busy tour schedule. He rejoined Kelce on the field after the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium, before the pair partied publicly in Las Vegas with friends and family following the win.
This year's playoffs will continue with the conference championships on January 26 and the Super Bowl on February 9.
