Texans' Tank Dell suffered a serious leg injury, leaving his teammates in tears
Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was taken off the field in an ambulance during Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering a serious leg injury during a second-half touchdown.
The tragic incident occurred just over three minutes into the second quarter when quarterback CJ Stroud connected with Dell in the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown.
Almost immediately after the catch, the second-year receiver sat down in obvious pain. He appeared to have a badly injured knee.
Texans players gathered around Dell and prayed for him, as Stroud was visibly shaken by Dell's injury.
He was eventually taken off the field in what appears to be an ambulance.
