The Bears shocked Parks with punt returns for touchdowns
The Chicago Bears didn't have much to play for Sunday in Green Bay other than ruining the Packers' playoff run.
But, since this was the final game of the Bears' 2024 season, all the stops were pulled out… even on special teams.
The first touchdown of the game was the result of a punt return by the Bears, as Josh Blackwell scored from 94 yards untouched after the Packers missed the ball.

This is due to the fact that the Bears sent two players back towards the end, one of them as if the ball was moving.
Meanwhile, Blackwell was running back down the left flank and saw the ball coming towards him. So, as his teammate pretended to let the ball fall and hope it went for a touchdown, Blackwell grabbed it and began running toward the end zone on the other side of the field.
2024 NFL PLAYOFF PICTURE: NFC TOP SEED, LAST TWO DISTRICT BATTLES IN WEEK 18
It wasn't until Blackwell had a bunch of blockers in front of him that the Packers realized what was happening, and only Green Bay linebacker Daniel Whelan knew what was happening. However, he didn't have a chance to knock Blackwell down, as two Bears players blocked him to close the first game.
Blackwell found Bears fans behind the end zone and attempted the “Lambeau Leap” to rub a little salt in the wound for the Packers.
While the Bears enter the NFL Draft with nothing to worry about with a 4-12 record coming into the game, the Packers have a seed to look out for in the NFC playoff bracket.
The Packers are in playoff contention, but a win and a loss by the Washington Commanders would put them at No. 6 instead of the final wild card slot at No. 7. Washington has a close matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on the road at AT&T Stadium.
Chicago's 2024 campaign started with a lot of optimism, mostly surrounding No. 1 Caleb Williams, and the team started 4-2, bringing plenty of playoff speculation.

But the Bears have lost 10 straight games since then, leading to the firing of head coach Matt Eberflus and GM Ryan Poles. Once again, they are thinking about the future as they intend to continue building around Williams.
