The FBI arrested a Delta stowaway at JFK Airport after arriving in New York
A Russian legal resident of the United States was taken into FBI custody at JFK International Airport today after fleeing a Delta Airline flight to Paris last month, according to the FBI.
Svetlana Dali, 57, made national news when she, without valid travel documents to enter France, managed to evade TSA checkpoints when she boarded Delta Flight 264 bound for Paris without a boarding pass on November 26.
“TSA can confirm that a person without a boarding pass has completed security screening (including personal and baggage) without any prohibited items. Each person bypassed two stations to verify identity and boarding status and then boarded the plane,” a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) spokesperson told Fox News Digital .

Dali was discovered when a flight attendant noticed that he had been sitting in the plane's bathroom for an unusually long time.
The incident is being investigated by government authorities.
Fox News Digital has contacted the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York for more information.
“There is nothing more important than issues of safety and security,” Delta told Fox News Digital. “That's why Delta is conducting a thorough investigation into what may have happened and will work with other aviation stakeholders and law enforcement to accomplish that.”
