It said the strike sites were used to attack US military vessels and merchant vessels in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. US military and air force aircraft also destroyed a Houthi coastal radar site, seven missiles and a UAV over the Red Sea, it said.

The Houthis' press office said on Tuesday 10 airstrikes hit the May 22 center north of Sanaa's Thurah and two more hit the Aradi center, which houses the rebels' Ministry of Defense in central Sanaa.
Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the Houthis' chief spokesman and spokesperson, called the strikes “a major violation of the sovereignty of an independent state.”
