Washington, DC, is preparing for the inauguration of 47th President Donald J. Trump on Monday, as inclement weather pushed the inauguration ceremony indoors.
Inauguration Day begins with that ceremony at noon. It ends with the official opening balls, according to Destination DC.
Many restaurants throughout the greater DC area have specials inspired by the establishment and experiences to mark the occasion, they told Fox News Digital earlier this week.

Pair a burger and fries with a Diet Coke
At the Watergate Hotel, guests can mark the opening at The Next Whiskey Bar to celebrate one of President Trump's favorites with an elevated twist, the Presidential Stack.
The dish features a gourmet take on the classic burger, paired with fried truffles and a bucket of Diet Cokes for a nod to Trump.

Have a 3-course dinner inspired by the presidents
At New Heights Restaurant in DC's Woodley Park neighborhood, there's a food tour through history with a special three-course menu, “The President's Feast: Flavors From Early History.”
Offered only at the end of January, this meal has options found on the official menu served at US presidential congressional lunches.
The congressional luncheon is a long-standing tradition held after the swearing-in ceremony.

At the Blue Duck Tavern at the Park Hyatt Washington DC, guests can sip and enjoy afternoon tea from 3 pm to 5 pm on the weekend before Monday's opening.
