Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic moved within one win of capturing their third ATP Masters 1000 title together on Saturday, when they defeated Neal Skupski and Michael Venus at the Rolex Paris Masters.
The sixth seed did not face a break point and won 93 percent (25/27) of his opening points according to Infosys ATP Stats en route to a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
Koolhof and Mektic have won four titles in 2024 including the Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells and Shanghai and will compete in the Nitto ATP Finals, which will be held from 10-17 November.
The Dutch-Croatian team will play US Open champions Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson or Lloyd Glasspool and Adam Pavlasek in Sunday's final.
